Berjaya Corporation Bhd shares remained stable at 25.5 sen during Thursday’s trading session as investors continued to assess the group’s recent disposal of its entire stake in Citaglobal Bhd.
As at 4.06pm on June 25, 2026, shares in BCorp were unchanged at 25.5 sen, after opening at the same level. The stock traded between an intraday low of 25 sen and a high of 26 sen.
The counter recorded a trading volume of 17.97 million shares, with buying volume standing at 16.73 million shares compared with selling volume of 23.69 million shares.
The latest movement came days after BCorp announced that it had completed the disposal of its entire 8.64% stake in Citaglobal for RM42.56 million in cash proceeds.
Through its wholly owned subsidiary, B Securities Sdn Bhd, BCorp disposed of 46.768 million Citaglobal shares on June 19, 2026 through a direct business transaction with Detik Ria Sdn Bhd at RM0.91 per share.
Following the transaction, B Securities ceased to be a shareholder of Citaglobal.
BCorp said the proceeds from the disposal will be used as working capital for the group, including payments for administrative, marketing and operating expenses.
The group added that the carrying value of the Citaglobal shares in its books stood at RM0.90 per share since June 2026.
BCorp also disclosed that Detik Ria is a major shareholder of Citaglobal and noted that Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, who serves as Non-Executive Chairman of BCorp, director of B Securities and chairman of Detik Ria, was deemed interested in the transaction.
She abstained from all Board deliberations and voting related to the disposal.
The Board, excluding Tunku Tun Aminah, said it believed the transaction was in the best interest of the BCorp Group.
