Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia (Zeekr Malaysia) has introduced the refreshed 2026 Zeekr X, a compact premium electric SUV updated with higher performance outputs, faster charging capability and additional cabin convenience features. The model is offered in Premium RWD and Flagship AWD variants.
According to Zeekr Malaysia General Manager Eddy Lu, the update focuses on improved drivability, expanded in-car functionality and a more differentiated split between the two variants, while retaining the Zeekr X’s core urban SUV positioning.
Performance and Charging
The Premium RWD variant produces 250kW and 373Nm, with a WLTP range of up to 445km. It supports 11kW AC charging and retains compatibility with DC fast charging.
The Flagship AWD variant, meanwhile, steps up output to 365kW and 573Nm, enabling a zero to 100kmh sprint in 3.7 seconds. It offers a WLTP range of up to 415km and supports faster 22kW AC charging.
Both variants support 150kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% recharge in about 30 minutes, depending on charging conditions.
Across both variants, Lu said the refreshed Zeekr X adds several new convenience features, including automatic front doors, an interactive B-pillar control interface, a built-in heating and cooling fridge (up to 50°C heating capability), and a touch-based multifunction steering wheel.
“Practical space has also been improved with a 404-litre boot capacity, aimed at accommodating daily urban use as well as weekend travel needs,” Lu shared.
He said the Premium RWD variant comes with a white-and-black dual-tone interior, 19-inch wheels, a head-up display and a new exterior colour option in Porcelain Pink, while the Flagship AWD adopts a more performance-focused cabin layout featuring a black interior with red seatbelts, front ventilated and massage seats, and 20-inch forged wheels, alongside exterior finishes in Onyx Black and Matte Khaki Green.
Safety and Driver Assistance
In terms of safety, Lu said the Zeekr X is equipped with a seven-airbag system and a comprehensive ADAS suite, supported by five HD cameras, five millimetre-wave radars and twelve ultrasonic sensors.
“Driver assistance functions include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane centring and lane keeping assist, automatic lane change, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, evasive manoeuvre assists and automated parking assist, along with driver monitoring features,” he added.
As for standard equipment across both variants, it includes LED headlamps with lightshow function, a powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof with heat protection, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charging pad and a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system.
“The cabin also features 17-zone ambient lighting that can synchronise with music playback for a more immersive interior experience,” he said.
Pricing and Warranty
The refreshed 2026 Zeekr X is priced at RM158,800 for the Premium RWD and RM175,800 for the Flagship AWD, with both variants covered by a five-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, alongside one year of connected services with monthly data allocation.
