Eco World Development Group Berhad has completed the acquisition of approximately 935.241 acres of freehold land located in Mukim Kulai, Daerah Kulai, Johor, marking another milestone in its strategic expansion plans.
The developer said the land acquisition was completed pursuant to the terms of the sale and purchase agreement.
The acquisition forms part of a broader set of proposals involving a subscription and shareholders’ agreement between SD Guthrie Land Ventures Sdn Bhd, Permodalan Darul Ta’zim Sdn Bhd, EcoWorld and Eco Business Park 8 Sdn Bhd, as well as the provision of financial assistance to Eco Business Park 8.
The proposals were first announced in November 2025, followed by further updates in December 2025 and June 2026.
EcoWorld said the completion of the land acquisition represents the fulfilment of one of the key components under the proposed transactions.
The newly acquired freehold land in Kulai is expected to support EcoWorld’s future development initiatives, particularly within Johor’s growing industrial and economic landscape.
