AirAsia MOVE has expanded its direct airline network with the addition of four new carriers, broadening travel connectivity across the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and China as demand for more flight choices continues to grow.
The travel booking platform has signed direct partnerships with Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir and Hainan Airlines during the second quarter of 2026, bringing its total number of directly integrated airline partners to 79.
Chief executive officer Nadia Omer said, “Travel across Asean is evolving rapidly, with travellers demanding greater choice and seamless control all on one platform. As a flights-first OTA, expanding our network offering is core to our mission. Securing the trust of major carriers like Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir, and Hainan Airlines, particularly amidst ongoing macroeconomic headwinds and volatility, is a powerful testament to the commercial strength of the MOVE ecosystem and the regional reach we deliver to our partners.”
The latest partnerships strengthen access to several key destinations and transit hubs. Oman Air expands connectivity to Oman and its wider international network, while Uzbekistan Airways adds routes through Tashkent. FitsAir enhances links between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo with onward connections to cities including Lahore, Dubai, Dhaka and Chennai. Hainan Airlines broadens access to major Chinese cities as well as international destinations across Asia, Europe and North America.
Beyond its direct airline partnerships, AirAsia MOVE also offers flights from about 700 other airlines through authorised suppliers. The platform also provides hotel bookings, airport transfers, attractions, travel insurance and other travel-related services.
