PMW International Bhd has secured an RM11.84 million supply and delivery agreement through its wholly owned subsidiary, PMW Marketing Sdn Bhd, with Global Technological Support Sdn Bhd for the provision of pre-stressed spun concrete poles for Malaysia’s Point of Presence Phase 2 (POP2) fibre-optics infrastructure project.
The contract will support the expansion of Malaysia’s broadband backbone under the POP2 initiative, a key national digital infrastructure programme aimed at strengthening fibre connectivity nationwide as part of the Digital Framework 2030.
PMW International Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Lee Hon Hwa said the agreement runs until Oct 31, 2026, and is expected to contribute positively to PMW’s revenue and earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.
“This agreement reinforces the company’s continuing participation in Malaysia’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure development ecosystem,” he added as the latest award follows a RM11.92 million spun pile supply contract secured in May.
“These successive contract wins across telecommunications and transportation infrastructure segments reflect growing confidence in PMW’s product quality, operational capabilities and delivery track record,” he shared, while highlighting that the latest agreement also extends PMW International’s involvement in POP2 following earlier Phase 1 contributions across Kedah, Perak, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka.
Looking ahead, Lee revealed that PMW International’s continued investment in Malaysia’s digital infrastructure, including fibre broadband expansion and national connectivity initiatives, is expected to sustain demand for its infrastructure products.
