Sapura Industrial Berhad (SIB) has officially entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) to dispose of two adjoining parcels of vacant leasehold industrial land in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, for a total cash consideration of RM42.33 million.
Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, acting on behalf of SIB’s Board of Directors, announced the signing of the agreement today with the purchaser, Zeito Plastic Components Sdn Bhd (ZPC). The signing follows the execution of a preliminary Letter of Offer between the two parties on June 8, 2026.
The properties under transaction consist of two vacant 99-year leasehold industrial lots (with leases expiring on July 18, 2103) located in Bandar Baru Bangi within the Ulu Langat district:
Combined, the two adjacent plots cover an aggregate land area of approximately 40,964 sqm.
SIB initially acquired these parcels more than 20 years ago with intentions to expand its manufacturing facilities in Bandar Baru Bangi. However, the group’s operational strategies have since pivoted toward building closer proximity to its key automotive customers.
The board highlighted that the disposal presents an optimal window to unlock the value of its non-core assets at current market value, enabling the realization of substantial capital appreciation. SIB is expected to record a pro forma gain of approximately RM29.14 million from the transaction.
