NexG Bina Berhad said the High Court has encouraged parties involved in a RM176 million civil suit to resolve the matter amicably, with both sides agreeing in principle to enter into a consent judgment.
The company said the development relates to the legal action filed by Caely (M) Sdn Bhd against Koperasi Perserta-Perserta Felcra Malaysia Berhad.
NexG Bina said the High Court urged the parties during the latest proceedings to reach an amicable settlement, and they have since agreed in principle to resolve the dispute through a consent judgment.
The matter has been fixed for further case management on July 31, 2026, to finalise the terms of the proposed consent judgment and settlement agreement.
The latest update follows the company’s previous announcements on Aug 12 and Nov 25, 2025, as well as May 5, 2026, regarding the litigation.
No further details of the proposed settlement terms were disclosed in the announcement.
The case stems from legal proceedings initiated by Caely (M) Sdn Bhd in August 2025, with the parties now expected to formalise the settlement before the High Court later this month.
