The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will offer a special vehicle registration number series beginning with the letter “H” in conjunction with this year’s Malaysia Day celebrations, with bidding scheduled to open from Sept 16 to Sept 20, 2026.
JPJ said the special registration series will be made available to the public as part of the department’s Malaysia Day initiative, giving motorists and collectors an opportunity to secure distinctive registration numbers.
The bidding exercise is expected to be conducted through JPJeBid, JPJ’s online vehicle registration number bidding platform, which allows members of the public to register, place bids and make payments electronically. The JPJeBid system has been available to the public since April 2019.
