Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his birthday wishes to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the former prime minister turns 101 years old.
In a post on X, Anwar wished Mahathir continued blessings, good health and divine protection.
“Happy 101st birthday to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. May Tun continue to be blessed with grace, good health and remain under His blessings,” Anwar said.
Mahathir, who served as Malaysia’s fourth prime minister from 1981 to 2003 and later as the seventh prime minister from 2018 to 2020, celebrated his 101st birthday on Friday.
The veteran statesman remains active in public affairs and continues to comment on national issues including economic development, governance and Malaysia’s future direction.
