Liftech Secures RM25 Million Contract From AME Construction For A Test Cell Facility

Liftech Group Bhd has secured a RM25 million contract to provide a material handling system for a test cell facility in Sepang, Selangor, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Liftech Engineering (K.L.) Sdn. Bhd. (LEKL).

TRhe group said LEKL had accepted a letter of award from AME Construction Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Main Market-listed AME Elite Consortium Bhd, on July 16.

The contract covers the design, supply, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of a material handling system for the main building works of the Phase 1 test cell facility located on part of PT7, Sepang.

The project involves the provision of labour, materials and equipment for the design, fabrication and supply of bridge cranes with runway rail tracks, dual hoist carriers, auto-grab systems, trolley hoists, monorail pivot sections, monorail delivery tracks, bus bars and electrical systems.

The scope of work also includes installation, testing and commissioning of the material handling equipment.

The contract has a duration of 10 months, commencing on May 29, 2026.

Under the project timeline, Phase 1 is scheduled for completion by Jan 18, 2027, while Phase 2 is expected to be completed by March 15, 2027.
