Disney and Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 5’ has surpassed US$800 million in worldwide box office earnings, reaching US$808.6 million globally since its release.
The latest instalment in Pixar’s long-running animated franchise is now the studio’s ninth highest-grossing film worldwide, overtaking titles including Monsters University (US$746 million), Up (US$735 million) and The Incredibles (US$633 million).
According to Deadline, the film has earned US$381.3 million in North America and US$427.3 million from international markets. Its domestic performance has placed it among Pixar’s top-performing releases in the region, surpassing Finding Nemo’s North American box office total.
The film currently ranks as the third highest-grossing movie worldwide in 2026, behind Super Mario Galaxy and Michael. It has also become the second highest-grossing film of the year in North America, behind Super Mario Galaxy.
Internationally, Toy Story 5 has performed strongly in markets including Mexico, which leads overseas earnings with US$61.8 million, followed by the United Kingdom at US$52.5 million and China at US$38.3 million. Other major markets include France, Australia, Brazil and Japan.
The film has yet to open in Germany, where its release is scheduled for July 23. The additional release is expected to contribute further to its global box office total.
