The FIFA World Cup 2026™ final will feature a familiar luxury name on the pitch. Louis Vuitton has been appointed Official Supplier and Branded Licensee of the tournament and will present a bespoke trophy trunk designed to carry and showcase the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy during the final ceremony.
The trunk will be brought onto the pitch as part of the final’s official ceremony programme, following a tradition that Louis Vuitton has been part of since the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. The presentation will be led by a Louis Vuitton ambassador and a FIFA Legend before the trophy is handed over for the tournament’s final celebration.
Created by Louis Vuitton artisans at the house’s historic workshop in Asnières-sur-Seine, near Paris, the trophy trunk combines traditional trunkmaking techniques with details inspired by the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy.
The design features Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram canvas, with two front panels finished with a hand-painted golden “V” representing both “victory” and “Vuitton”.
The trunk also includes leather lozines, gold-plated brass corner protectors, a lock and clasps based on designs used by the house since the 1860s. Inside, the trunk is lined with light beige leather and features a Louis Vuitton and FIFA partnership logo on the lid.
The new creation continues a partnership between Louis Vuitton and FIFA that has spanned several World Cup tournaments. Since 2010, the house has produced trophy trunks for editions held in South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Qatar, transporting the trophy throughout each host country.
Alongside the official trophy trunk, Louis Vuitton will release a limited-edition collection inspired by the design. The collection includes the Coffret 8 Montres, a watch case that holds up to eight watches; the Cotteville 16 Montres, which stores up to 16 watches; and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110, a larger trunk.
Each piece features the brand’s Monogram canvas, a hand-painted FIFA World Cup logo and the same golden “V” detail used on the official trophy trunk.
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, with the final set to feature Louis Vuitton’s latest trophy trunk as part of the tournament’s closing ceremony.
