South Korean actress Shin Min-a is the latest name to join OMEGA’s roster of global brand ambassadors. While she may be best known to K-drama fans, her career has steadily grown into one that reaches audiences across Asia and beyond.
Shin made her acting debut in 2001 and has since become one of Korea’s most recognisable screen stars. Over the years, she has built a diverse filmography, starring in hit series including My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, Oh My Venus, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Our Blues, and No Gain No Love. Her latest film, Eyes, continues that trajectory, showcasing another shift in her acting range.
The announcement comes at a time when Korean entertainment continues to shape global pop culture, with actors increasingly taking on international fashion and luxury partnerships. Shin’s appointment reflects that wider trend, as brands look to personalities whose influence extends beyond their home markets.
Speaking about the partnership, Shin shared what time means to her beyond its literal sense. “To me, time represents more than simply the passing of moments. It symbolises responsibility, commitment, and the precious experiences we share with the people around us.”
To mark the announcement, Shin wears OMEGA’s recently launched Seamaster Aqua Terra 30 mm. The collection introduces a smaller case size while retaining the mechanical movement that defines the Aqua Terra line.
