Chubb has appointed Gurudutt Joglekar as Country President of Chubb Insurance Malaysia Bhd, with the insurance veteran taking charge of the company’s general insurance business with immediate effect.
Joglekar will oversee Chubb Malaysia’s Personal Lines, Accident & Health and Commercial Property & Casualty businesses, reporting to Marcos Gunn, Regional President, Asia Pacific.
He joined Chubb as Deputy Country President in June 2026 and brings more than 20 years of insurance experience across Malaysia, Hong Kong and India, with expertise in Motor and Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting as well as organisational transformation.
Gunn said, “Gurudutt is a strategic and results-driven leader with extensive experience in the insurance industry. As we continue to advance our strategy in Malaysia, he will lead our dedicated team in delivering continued growth and operational transformation in this key market.”
Joglekar succeeds Jon Longmore, who will take on a new role within Chubb, with further details to be announced by the company.
