SIM Global Education (SIM GE) is expanding financial support for eligible local and international students, with scholarships and assistance covering tuition fees, living costs, overseas study and unexpected family financial crises.
Its SIM STARRR Award offers new undergraduate students up to S$51,000 in support, including tuition fee reimbursement of up to S$36,000, a computer grant of up to S$2,000, an exchange airfare grant of up to S$1,500, a S$6,500 living allowance and accommodation reimbursement of up to S$5,000.
For current undergraduates, the SIM Award and Sports & Artistic Talent Award provide S$15,000 each to students who continue to demonstrate academic, sporting or artistic excellence.
International students enrolling in selected diploma programmes can also apply for scholarships covering either 100% or 50% of course fees, depending on their academic performance and eligibility.
SIM GE is also providing financial support for overseas learning. Eligible Singapore citizens and permanent residents with a per capita household income of up to S$600 can receive up to S$7,000 for approved airfare and accommodation expenses, while those with income between S$601 and S$3,000 can receive up to S$4,000.
Separately, its Crisis Fund provides S$5,000 to eligible students facing unforeseen family financial difficulties, with applications processed quarterly.
The support covers students across Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes, subject to individual eligibility criteria, funding availability and the respective scholarship terms.
