Xiaomi EV has unveiled its new SkyNomad Series, introducing two extended-range SUVs designed to combine flexible cabin space, long-distance capability and advanced intelligent features for families.
The line-up comprises the seven-seat SkyNomad N90 Max, priced from RMB299,900, and the five-seat all-wheel-drive N70 Max, starting at RMB259,900. Both are built on Xiaomi’s new Kunlun Platform and feature a fully flat cabin floor with reconfigurable seating.
The larger N90 Max measures 5,285mm in length and offers up to 1,831 litres of cargo space. Its cabin can be converted into several layouts, including a business lounge, sleeping area, camping configuration and maximum-storage mode.
Xiaomi said the N70 Max delivers up to 505km of electric-only range, while the N90 Max can travel up to 1,705km using its combined battery and range-extender system.
The N90 Max also features dual-motor all-wheel drive with 310kW of peak power, adjustable air suspension and a 5.95-metre turning radius.
Safety equipment includes a reinforced steel-and-aluminium body, the Xiaomi Armor Scale Battery and up to 12 airbags. The series also carries LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar and an assisted-driving system supported by up to 700 TOPS of computing power.
The SkyNomad launch broadens Xiaomi’s automotive portfolio as the technology group targets growing demand for spacious, intelligent and long-range family vehicles.
