I-Bhd posted a marginal 2.8% increase in profit after tax (PAT) to RM22 million for the first half ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), even as weaker property conditions and cautious consumer spending dragged revenue lower.
The result compared to a PAT of RM21.4 million a year earlier, supported by stronger contributions from the group’s property development and property investment divisions.
First-half revenue, however, fell 25.6% to RM92.5 million from RM124.4 million in 1H25.
For the second quarter, revenue declined 22.2% to RM48.5 million from RM62.3 million. Despite the contraction, quarterly profit improved slightly to RM11.6 million from RM11.4 million previously.
Looking ahead, I-Bhd said its growth strategy would be underpinned by about RM5 billion in remaining gross development value at i-City.
Its upcoming AI World projects, including the AI Living residences, are expected to drive future growth while strengthening the group’s recurring income base.
