Iskandar Waterfront Director Datuk Lim Keng Guan Resigns, Cites Commitment At LSH

Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCITY) announced that Datuk Lim Keng Guan has resigned as its Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, effective Aug 7, 2026.

The company said Lim’s resignation was due to commitments arising from his obligations with Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd.

Lim joined the IWCITY board on July 5, 2013 as an Executive Director before being redesignated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on March 8, 2024.

He holds a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and has more than 30 years of commercial experience spanning property development, construction and related activities.

His experience includes building and civil engineering works, design and build, turnkey projects, trading in building materials, as well as the reconditioning and rental of machinery.

Prior to joining the Iskandar Waterfront Holdings (IWH) Group, Lim was Project Director of PLS Plantations Bhd, a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities.

He joined the IWH Group in 2000 as Group Head of Procurement and Contract Administration, where he was involved in extensive upgrading and reclamation works undertaken by the group.

Lim is currently Executive Chairman of Lim Seong Hai Holdings Sdn Bhd and Executive Vice Chairman of Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia’s LEAP Market. He also serves as a director of several privately held companies.

The company noted that Lim is the nephew of Tan Sri Dato’ Lim Kang Hoo and cousin of Mr Lim Chen Herng.

His departure marks the end of more than 13 years on IWCITY’s board, following his initial appointment in 2013.
