Nvidia Plans Up To US$3 Billion Investment In Lancium

Nvidia will invest up to US$3 billion in power infrastructure developer Lancium, which is backed by Blackstone and involved in the Stargate project, according to a report by The Information on Friday.

Under the reported deal, Nvidia would receive a 20% stake in Lancium for an initial investment of US$2 billion. Its stake could increase with a further US$1 billion investment if Lancium meets certain thresholds, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.

Lancium develops power infrastructure for data centres, including facilities designed to support large-scale artificial intelligence workloads.

Reuters independently reported that Nvidia and Lancium did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the reported investment.
