Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected across parts of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka until 1 pm today, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
In Selangor, the warning covers Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak and Petaling.
The warning also applies to the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, as well as Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau in Negeri Sembilan, along with the whole of Melaka.
The warning was issued at 10:30 am today and is in effect until 1 pm.
Residents in affected areas should be prepared for sudden downpours, gusty winds and reduced visibility, particularly during the warning period.
