Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, visited Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who are receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
In a post on X, Anwar said Fadillah’s health had shown positive improvement when they met yesterday. However, he said the Deputy Prime Minister still needed adequate rest on the advice of his medical team.
Anwar and Wan Azizah also visited Ismail Sabri, who remains at IJN for treatment and requires further monitoring.
Anwar said he and Wan Azizah were praying for both Fadillah and Ismail Sabri to make a speedy recovery and for their treatment to proceed smoothly.
He also wished both men continued good health and strength.
