Jessica Lange is returning to American Horror Story, and she is not the only familiar face coming back. FX has released the first teaser for Season 13, confirming a crossover that brings characters from several past seasons into one story.
Lange reprises her role as Constance Langdon from Murder House. Evan Peters is also returning as Kai Anderson from Cult and the Rubber Man. Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts are back as Cordelia Goode, Marie Laveau and Madison Montgomery from Coven.
The season will connect characters and storylines from Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show and Cult. Showrunner Ryan Murphy has compared the setup to an “Avengers”-style crossover, with some actors playing more than one character from the franchise.
Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, John Carroll Lynch, Mena Suvari, Jamie Brewer, John Waters, Madelaine Petsch and Tig Notaro are also part of the cast.
Hypebeast reported that the new season will consist of 13 half-hour episodes, with the first three airing on premiere night. The next three episodes will follow a week later, before the season shifts to two episodes per week through the finale.
American Horror Story: 13 premieres Sept. 24, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET on FX and Hulu.
