Pat McGrath Labs is revisiting some of the makeup looks associated with Pat McGrath’s runway work with its latest collection. The Backstage Artistry Collection includes four palettes and the brand’s first brow gel.
The five-piece range features three Luxe Eyeshadow Quads, one face quad and Invisibrow Gel. The eyeshadow palettes cover neutral, rosy and jewel-toned shades, while the face palette takes a brighter approach.
Film Noir Nude is built around taupe and black shades for smoky eye looks. Rose Rebellion combines dusty rose tones with champagne shimmer. Emerald Enigma uses jewel-toned metallics for a stronger colour look.
The Colour Blitz Face Quad moves away from neutrals with vivid matte shades and electric blue metallics. It is aimed at more graphic makeup looks.
The collection also marks McGrath Labs’ first brow product. Invisibrow Gel comes in six shades and is designed to create anything from defined brows to a bleached-brow look. It is also available through Pat McGrath Labs’ website.
The Backstage Artistry Collection is based on techniques McGrath has used in runway and editorial makeup. The range covers several of those styles, from smoky eyes and metallic colour to more understated brows and stronger brow transformations.
With the launch, the brand adds brow makeup to its existing range of eye, face and lip products. The collection also draws on several of the makeup styles most closely associated with McGrath’s work.
