The submission deadline for the e-Time Extension system through MyTax and the Tax Agent e-Filing System (TAeF) has been extended to August 20, 2026, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL) said.
In a notice released on Aug 15, HASiL said the e-Time Extension system through TAeF became available on August 13 2026, allowing eligible taxpayers and tax agents to submit applications for an extension of time.
The extension applies specifically to taxpayers for Year of Assessment 2025 whose accounting period ended on December 31, 2025.
Accordingly, eligible submissions through MyTax and TAeF must be made by August 20, 2026.
