Haier Malaysia has appointed Sun Menghao as its new Managing Director, effective 12 August 2026.
Sun brings 10 years of experience with the Haier Group, including five years with AQUA Vietnam. Prior to his latest appointment, he served as Director of the Cooling Category at AQUA Vietnam, where he was responsible for overseeing the refrigerator and freezer businesses.
With his extensive industry experience, leadership capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the home appliance sector, Sun is expected to lead Haier Malaysia into its next phase of growth and development.
Under his leadership, the company said it will continue to focus on advancing smart-living innovation, operational excellence and stronger value creation for consumers and business partners.
Meanwhile, Fan Jing has concluded his tenure as Managing Director. During his leadership, Fan played an important role in strengthening Haier Malaysia’s business foundation, expanding its market presence and supporting the company’s growth in the country.
