A New Staycation Spot Is Available In Putrajaya

Putrajaya has a new place to stay, and it is part of a larger development taking shape along the city’s waterfront.

Fraser Residence Putrajaya has soft-opened at TERRA in Precinct 8, marking Frasers Hospitality’s first property in Malaysia. The serviced residence sits along Putrajaya Lake and forms part of the 11.5-acre mixed-use development by Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd.

The residence has 283 serviced apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units with lake views and balconies. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and living area, making the units suitable for both short visits and longer stays.

The property caters to families and business travellers, with facilities including a children’s playroom, family games room, gym and swimming pool. Four meeting rooms are also available for meetings and smaller events.

There are two dining options on site. Relish serves an international buffet and à la carte dishes throughout the day. Lakeside Café offers pastries, desserts, light bites and drinks, with indoor and outdoor seating facing the lake.

The property is part of TERRA, which is being developed as an integrated waterfront precinct. The project also includes a 348-unit residential condominium, a 170,000 sq ft community mall and a 35,000 sq ft event hall with capacity for 700 people. A 1,000-seat convention hall, Terra Acara, is scheduled to open in 2027.

Its location also puts guests close to some of Putrajaya’s main attractions. Putra Mosque, Putrajaya Botanical Garden and Taman Warisan Pertanian are all within the city, while Putrajaya Lake offers walking routes, boat tours and kayaking.

For those travelling on business, the residence is close to Cyberjaya and around 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The nearby Putrajaya International Convention Centre also makes the area relevant for conferences and events.

With TERRA still expanding, Fraser Residence Putrajaya arrives as part of a wider shift towards mixed-use development around Putrajaya Lake.
