Aneka Jaringan Files Winding-Up Petition Against Ahmad Zaki Over RM5.9 Million Debt

Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd, has filed a winding-up petition against Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd (AZSB) over an outstanding debt of RM5.93 million arising from construction works.

The petition was presented to the High Court of Malaya on Aug 19, 2026, through Aneka Jaringan’s appointed solicitors. The company said the petition will be served on AZSB once it has been sealed by the court.

A total of RM5,925,406.13 is being claimed from AZSB, representing the amount outstanding and due to Aneka Jaringan for construction works awarded to and completed by the subsidiary.

Aneka Jaringan had previously served AZSB with a notice pursuant to Section 466(1) of the Companies Act 2016 on June 16, 2026, demanding payment of the outstanding RM5.93 million.

More than 21 days have since elapsed following service of the notice, but AZSB has not paid or satisfied the outstanding amount, or secured or compounded the debt to Aneka Jaringan’s reasonable satisfaction.

The failure to settle the outstanding amount subsequently led to the filing of the winding-up petition.
