The Tokyo-based shoegaze band cephalo has officially announced their cephalo Asia Tour 2026. They will bring their unique “Wall of Sound” blending dense reverb with dream-pop vocals to four major Asian cities, including our very own Petaling Jaya this October 4th.
cephalo is a fast-rising four-piece alternative rock and shoegaze band based in Tokyo, Japan. Formed in December 2023 under the independent label KOKOO RECORDS, they quickly carved out a reputation in Tokyo’s underground scene for their intense, decadent, and beautiful wall of sound.
The quartet consists of four members whose creative synergy blends moody instrumentation with bright melodies:
- fuki – Lead Vocals, Guitar, Lyricist, & Composer
- Omae – Guitar & Composer
- Otaki – Bass Guitar
- Uchida – Drums

For their upcoming show at Live Fact, the band will perform alongside local supporting guest FUAD.
FUAD is a rising homegrown alternative indie sibling duo from the quiet suburbs of Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. Comprising brother and sister Arief Fuad and Lisa Fuad , they have quickly become one of the most endearing and refreshing acts in the Malaysian underground indie scene.
Held at Live Fact, an intimate space for band jams and gigs, this tour is bound to have that reverberating dreamy sound. Tickets are available here from RM100 onward.
