Kelington 1H26 Net Profit Jumps To RM71.7 Million, Declares 3 Sen Dividend

Kelington Group Bhd’s net profit jumped to RM71.7 million for the first half ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), supported by a favourable project mix and stronger contributions across its core engineering businesses.

The integrated engineering solutions provider recorded RM614.8 million in 1H26 revenue, while net profit margin improved to 11.7% from 10.8% as the group focused on higher-margin projects.

Advanced Engineering, or Ultra High Purity, remained Kelington’s largest segment, contributing RM401.7 million or 65.3% of revenue. Advanced Industrial Infrastructure contributed RM111.2 million, Industrial Gases RM62.8 million, Process Engineering RM36 million and Equipment and Materials RM20.1 million.

For the second quarter, net profit rose 25.7% year-on-year to RM41.3 million from RM32.9 million, while revenue increased 22.1% to RM344.4 million.

The growth was supported by higher project activities across Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Germany.

Kelington Chief Executive Officer Lim Seng Chuan said the group secured RM1.23 billion in new orders during the first half alone, nearly matching the RM1.25 billion secured throughout 2025.

As at June 30, Kelington’s outstanding order book stood at RM2.04 billion, while its tenderbook reached RM7.50 billion, providing a sizeable pipeline of potential projects.

The group also declared a second interim dividend of three sen per share, bringing total FY26 dividends declared to six sen per share, or RM52.8 million, equivalent to 73.6% of 1H26 net profit.
