Zetrix AI Bhd posted a 42.1% surge in profit after tax (PAT) to RM539.76 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), driven by stronger contributions from its artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and Zetrix blockchain services.
Revenue for 1H26 also rose 33.7% to RM813.01 million from RM607.88 million a year earlier, supported by subscriptions and services from its AI platforms, Web3 application fees and sales of Zetrix Layer-1 nodes and tokens.
For the second quarter, net profit increased to RM269.25 million from RM199.15 million in the corresponding period, while revenue climbed to RM426.72 million from RM307.9 million.
The group said its blockchain-related revenue was supported by services including the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure, ZTrade, ZCert, digital identity registrations and transactions, as well as other Web3 applications.
Zetrix AI also declared a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.25 sen per share, payable on Nov 20, 2026.
Looking ahead, the group expects its blockchain and AI initiatives to continue driving organic growth in FY2026, while its partnership with the International Finance Corporation is expected to support the global expansion of its technology.
Zetrix AI said it will also continue developing the China-ASEAN AI Lab, with a focus on the convergence of blockchain, AI and robotics, while exploring the potential carve-out and international listing of projects developed under the initiative.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the board remains cautiously optimistic on the group’s long-term outlook as it rolls out new services in Malaysia and overseas.
