SSBB Ends FY26 On Record High As Net Profit Hits RM66.4 Million

Southern Score Builders Bhd (SSBB) closed its financial year ended June 30, 2026 (FY26), on a high note, with net profit surging 65.2% year-on-year to a record RM66.4 million from RM40.2 million, driven by stronger contributions from its mechanical and electrical (M&E) division and steady execution across construction projects.

The full-year revenue more than doubled to an all-time high of RM491 million, up 122.1% from RM221.1 million a year earlier, marking the first time the group surpassed the RM400 million revenue and RM60 million net profit thresholds.

The M&E division contributed RM225.3 million in FY26, supported by the ramp-up of data centre projects, while construction and consultancy services also delivered stronger contributions.

SSBB also posted its best-ever quarterly performance in 4Q26, with revenue jumping 118.5% to RM177.1 million and net profit soaring 82.6% to RM21.3 million.

Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Gan Yee Hin said FY26 was a record year for the group, underpinned by the expansion of its M&E capabilities and continued execution of turnkey construction projects.

As at June 30, SSBB’s outstanding order book stood at approximately RM1.43 billion, comprising RM1.05 billion from construction, RM339.2 million from M&E and RM40.5 million from specialised engineering consultancy services.

The group said its M&E pipeline remains strong, having secured two major data centre contracts worth RM150 million and RM146.5 million in 2026, while continuing to position itself as an integrated EPCC provider.
