Kee Ming Secures Two M&E Contracts Worth RM40 Million

Kee Ming Group Bhd has secured two mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering subcontract wins worth a combined RM40 million for industrial projects in Penang and Selangor.

Its wholly-owned subsidiary Kee Ming Electrical Sdn Bhd accepted the two letters of award on Sept 1 from a third-party contractor for works at the Valdor Industrial Area in Penang and Taman Perdagangan Elmina in Selangor.

The Penang contract, valued at RM21 million, covers the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, fire protection, electrical, telephone, extra-low voltage and building management systems for a warehouse. It is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027 (1Q27).

The RM19 million Selangor contract involves electrical services, fire protection and air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation works for another warehouse, with completion targeted for 2Q27.

Both contracts will be undertaken on a fixed-price lump-sum basis, with works commencing upon acceptance of the respective awards.

Kee Ming said the contracts are expected to contribute positively to its earnings, earnings per share and net assets for the financial year ending March 31, 2027, and throughout the projects’ duration.
