Zetrix AI Bhd has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of HeiTech Padu Bhd following the disposal of 27.55 million shares in the technology services company.
According to a Bursa Malaysia filing, the disposal of 27,545,875 ordinary shares was carried out via a Direct Business Transaction (DBT) by MY E.G. Capital Sdn Bhd on Sept 2, 2026.
Zetrix AI’s interest in the HeiTech Padu shares was deemed through its shareholding in MY E.G. Capital pursuant to Section 8(4) of the Companies Act 2016.
Following the transaction, Zetrix AI ceased to be a substantial shareholder of HeiTech Padu.
The notice of cessation was dated Sept 4 and received by HeiTech Padu on the same day.
The company has been in the limelight recently after it aborted an RM130 million acquisition of MYEG Ventures in Philippines citing share volatility.
The share closed on Friday at 0.26 after declining close to 50% over the past two weeks.
