SFP Tech Gets Until Dec 4 To Meet Bursa Audit Committee Requirements

SFP Tech Holdings Bhd has been granted a three-month extension by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd to comply with requirements governing the composition of its Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC).

The ACE Market-listed company said the exchange had, in a letter dated Sept 4, 2026, granted it an extension until Dec 4, 2026 to comply with Rules 15.09(1)(a), 15.09(1)(c) and 15.10 of the ACE Market Listing Requirements.

Under the requirements, SFP Tech’s ARMC must comprise at least three members, with its chairman being an independent director elected from among the committee members.

At least one member of the committee must also meet Bursa’s prescribed accounting or financial qualification requirements.

This includes being a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), or, for a person who is not an MIA member, having at least three years of working experience together with qualifications or membership of recognised professional accounting bodies specified under the Accountants Act 1967.

Alternatively, the member may satisfy other requirements prescribed or approved by Bursa Securities.

The extension gives SFP Tech until Dec 4 to bring the composition and qualifications of its ARMC into compliance with the ACE Market Listing Requirements.
