Omesti Bhd and CA IT Infrastructure Solutions Sdn Bhd have been sued by CSI Interfusion Sdn Bhd over an alleged RM7.64 million outstanding payment relating to software implementation services for a Telekom Malaysia project.
The group said it and CA IT were served with a writ of summons and statement of claim on Sept 8, 2026. CA IT and Omesti have been named as the first and second defendants, respectively.
CSI Interfusion claims it was engaged by CA IT under a service contract dated Sept 15, 2020, to provide software implementation services for the Telekom Malaysia CBS Deployment Project.
The plaintiff contends that it completed the contracted services and issued invoices accordingly but, despite receiving partial payments, RM7.64 million remained outstanding.
Omesti had provided a corporate guarantee for CA IT’s obligations capped at RM7.5 million.
CSI Interfusion is therefore seeking RM7.5 million jointly and severally from CA IT and Omesti, together with contractual interest of 1.1% per month from the date of demand until full settlement, post-judgment interest of 5% per annum, legal costs and other relief.
It is separately claiming an additional RM142,246.46 from CA IT, representing the amount above Omesti’s RM7.5 million guarantee cap, as well as contractual interest on the outstanding sums.
CA IT is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Microlink Solutions Bhd, which was a major subsidiary of Omesti until June 2022.
Omesti said it is being sued in its capacity as corporate guarantor and maintained that the claim would first have to succeed against CA IT, which was the contracting party.
Apart from professional fees, Omesti said any potential liability would arise only if the claim succeeds, while no material operational impact on the company is currently expected.
Omesti is seeking legal advice and said it intends to oppose the claim against it as the second defendant.
