AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (AmanahRaya REIT) has redesignated Datuk Mohd Radzif Mohd Yunus, 68, as its Independent Non-Executive Chairman, effective Sept 10, 2026.
Mohd Radzif was previously chairman of the REIT, with the latest redesignation reflecting his position as an independent and non-executive director.
Mohd Radzif brings extensive leadership experience spanning healthcare, development finance, property, construction and investment.
He was appointed chief executive officer of Institut Jantung Negara Sdn Bhd (IJN) in 2003 and subsequently served as group managing director of IJN Holdings Sdn Bhd.
In 2010, he joined Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia as managing director before being redesignated as group managing director in 2014, a position he held until June 2017.
Mohd Radzif received the Malaysian Business Leadership Award for Healthcare in 2009 and was named CEO of the Year by the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) in 2015.
He has also held leadership positions in international development finance organisations, including as chairman of the Association of Development Finance Institutions of Malaysia (ADFIM), vice-chairman of the Association of National Development Finance Institutions in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI), as well as a board member of ADFIAP and The Montreal Group.
Mohd Radzif holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Property Resource Management with Finance from the University of South Australia and a Diploma in Land Survey from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
He is also an associate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, a Certified Risk Director and a registered valuer, real estate professional and property manager.
His present directorships include Duopharma Biotech Bhd and Amanah Raya Bhd, a government-linked company.
