Paragon Globe Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PGBG Construction Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract worth approximately RM45.16 million for earthworks and retaining wall works for a data centre development in Johor.
The company said PGBG accepted the letter of award (LOA) from an unnamed data centre operator on Aug 19, 2026, with the duly stamped LOA subsequently received on Sept 9.
Under the contract, PGBG will undertake earthworks and retaining wall works at the data centre site, with completion targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The latest award gives the group further exposure to Malaysia’s expanding data centre construction sector, particularly in Johor, which has emerged as a major location for new digital infrastructure developments.
