Sejiwa Social Club, a new social sports and lifestyle destination, officially launched in Cyberjaya on 30 August 2026 with its “Celebs Take the Court” event. Invited guests and members of the media were among the first to experience its innovative concept, which brings together pickleball, padel, polo, equestrian activities, dining, entertainment and community experiences.
Occupying approximately 30,000 square feet, Sejiwa Social Club is located within the 28-acre Royal Selangor Polo & Equestrian Club. The collaboration combines Selangor’s distinguished polo and equestrian heritage with the growing popularity of social racket sports, introducing an integrated lifestyle destination in Cyberjaya where sport, recreation and social interaction come together.
In recognition of its home in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Sejiwa Social Club has named its pickleball and padel courts after the state’s nine districts: Petaling, Klang, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang. The names pay tribute to Selangor’s history and distinctive local identity.
The courts are open daily from 7.00 a.m. to 1.00 a.m., giving guests the flexibility to enjoy the facilities throughout the day and into the night.
In addition to its thoughtfully designed, well-ventilated courts, Sejiwa Social Club features a restaurant on the first floor overlooking the courts, where diners can also enjoy sunset views. Its extensive menu ranges from light bites and handcrafted burgers to pizzas and pasta dishes, offering something for guests of all ages.
“Celebs Take the Court” was held in conjunction with Malaysia’s 69th National Day celebrations and the Silver Jubilee commemorating the 25th anniversary of the reign of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor.
The launch featured a wide variety of activities, including court-testing sessions for celebrities and social media personalities, padel and pickleball exhibition matches, a horse and stable experience, a latte art showcase, a mocktail experience, the Sunset Coffee Rave, a lucky draw and live musical performances. The event culminated at midnight with a Merdeka countdown and fireworks celebration.
Guests in attendance included Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports YB Mordi Bimol, as well as professional pickleball players Jimmy Leong and Mia Athilla.
Other distinguished guests, celebrities and athletes included Natasha Elyzza, Tan Sri Azam Baki, Dato’ Mirnawan Nawawi, Nora Danish, Dato’ AC Mizal and Datin Emylia, Datin Elvina, Ungku Hariz and Jihan Muse, Riezman Khuzaimi, Ika Nabella and Muhammad Zaid, Fify Azmi, and Faiz Dickie.
Through the launch, Sejiwa Social Club aims to introduce a wider audience to the unique setting and culture of the Royal Selangor Polo & Equestrian Club, while demonstrating how sport, dining, entertainment and community activities can come together naturally within one destination.
The collaboration also marks a new chapter for Cyberjaya. Beyond its established identity as a city of technology and innovation, Cyberjaya is set to further develop as a vibrant, inclusive and accessible destination for sport, recreation and active lifestyles.
