Citaglobal Berhad subsidiary announced that it has accepted a Letter of Award dated 20 August 2026 from Purnama Base Sdn. Bhd. for the design, construction and completion of a new residential college at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Melayu, Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.
The fixed lump-sum subcontract is valued at RM82.124 million and is scheduled to be delivered over 22 months, subject to the terms of the subcontract.
The project forms part of a Malaysian Government development initiative within the education sector, implemented through Jabatan Kerja Raya. JKR is the employer under the main contract, while Purnama Base is the main contractor pursuant to a main contract with JKR dated 30 December 2025. Purnama Base has appointed Citaglobal Land as the subcontractor to undertake the design, construction and completion of the works.
The new residential college will support the accommodation needs of Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Melayu, an institution dedicated to the training and development of teachers. The award adds to Citaglobal Land’s track record in public sector infrastructure works and draws on the Group’s combined design, engineering and construction delivery capabilities.
