The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has increased its direct stake in IOI Corporation Bhd to 17.645% after acquiring a total of 7.46 million shares in the plantation group.
According to a Bursa Malaysia filing, the acquisitions were made on Sept 8, 2026 through several EPF nominee accounts.
The largest purchase involved 6.06 million shares, while additional acquisitions comprised 100,000 shares, 857,300 shares and 446,500 shares.
Following the transactions, EPF’s direct shareholding in IOI Corp increased to 1.109 billion shares.
The stake is based on IOI Corp’s total voting shares of 6.285 billion shares as at Sept 8.
