GTA Holdings Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Turbine Asia Sdn. Bhd., and Safran Helicopter Engines Asia have formalised a Distributor Agreement for Brunei Darussalam. The appointment authorises GTA to support the distribution of Safran Helicopter Engines products and services in Brunei Darussalam.
The agreement builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Global Turbine and Safran Helicopter Engines Asia earlier in July, which established a framework to expand their collaboration beyond Malaysia into Brunei Darussalam.
The appointment broadens GTA’s role within the Safran Helicopter Engines ecosystem and underscores the strategic value of the relationship between both organisations. By extending authorised support activities into Brunei Darussalam, the agreement not only enhances customer support capabilities within the market but also reinforces GTA’s position as a trusted regional partner capable of supporting Safran’s long-term objectives in Southeast Asia.
Under the agreement, GTA will be authorised to market and support selected Safran Helicopter Engines products and services within Brunei Darussalam.
