Malaysians looking to get their hands on Apple’s latest Pro models will be able to place pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max from Sept 18.
Prices start at RM5,499 for the iPhone 18 Pro. Both models will be available in four colours — Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black — with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display options.
The biggest changes are centred on the camera system. The 48MP Fusion Main camera now has a variable aperture, allowing it to adjust to different lighting conditions and control depth of field.
Apple has also added new Pro controls in the Camera app. Users can manually adjust settings such as aperture, shutter speed, white balance and histogram.
Performance is handled by the new A20 Pro chip, which Apple describes as a thermally cooled processor designed to sustain performance during demanding tasks.
Battery life has also been extended. Apple says the iPhone 18 Pro can deliver up to 29 hours of use on a single charge, although actual battery life will vary depending on usage and network conditions.
Both models feature Ceramic Shield on the front and back. The phones are also available with 0% interest instalment plans of up to 24 months for eligible customers using participating credit cards.
Apple Malaysia is also offering trade-in options, with values depending on the device’s model and condition.
