Magma Group Bhd Director cum Group Managing Director Dato’ Sri Liang Chee Fong has seen his deemed interest in the company increase following the acquisition of 7.66 million shares by his spouse.
According to a filing, the shares were acquired on Sept 14, 2026 by Komathi Lalitha A/P Veeriah.
Following the transaction, Liang’s deemed interest in Magma Group rose to 7.66 million shares, representing 0.397% of the company.
His direct shareholding remains at 31.25 million shares, or 1.619%.
The company said the change in deemed interest arose from the acquisition of shares by Liang’s spouse.
The notice of the transaction was received by Magma Group on Sept 15, 2026.
