IHH Healthcare Bhd said its Indian associate Fortis Healthcare Ltd has filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) before the Supreme Court of India challenging an Aug 31, 2026 order issued by the Delhi High Court.
Fortis filed the petition on Sept 16, IHH said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.
The matter relates to longstanding execution proceedings initiated by Daiichi Sankyo against brothers Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh, as well as persons and entities related to them.
IHH has made a series of announcements on the proceedings since 2018 in connection with its investment in Fortis.
The latest filing did not disclose further details on the grounds of Fortis’ petition or the specific relief being sought from the Supreme Court.
IHH said it will make further announcements should there be any material developments in the matter.
