Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) shares fell marginally by 0.19% to RM10.40 as of 12.35 pm as investors digest the latest Federal Reserve decision to hike rates by 25 basis point.
The stock opened at RM10.44 and moved between an intraday high of RM10.48 and a low of RM10.38. Some 4.77 million shares changed hands.
Maybank had closed at RM10.42 in the previous trading session, putting the latest price two sen lower.
Separately, Maybank announce that it will be collaborating with Asian Business School for a ABS Wealth Advisory & Management Certification Programme intended to recognise wealth advisory professionals in banking.
If launched, the programme would be Malaysia’s first industry-wide professional certification framework dedicated to wealth advisory, with the first intake expected in the second half of 2027.
