Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has secured a RM72.84 million contract to undertake high-voltage power infrastructure works for a data centre development at Banting Technology Park in Selangor.
Its wholly owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award on Sept 18 to act as the main contractor for the project.
The contract covers the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a 275kV PMU Megasteel cable connection to Consumer Landing Station No. 1 for the data centre.
Under the scope of works, Jati Tinggi will undertake the full engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of two circuits of 275kV underground power cables and 275kV overhead line cables, together with transmission towers and associated infrastructure.
The works will form the essential power connection to the consumer landing station serving the data centre at Banting Technology Park.
The contract value of RM72.84 million is inclusive of sales and service tax.
Jati Tinggi said the contract will take effect from the date of acceptance and is scheduled to run until Jan 15, 2027.
The customer, whose name was not disclosed, is a Malaysian-incorporated company principally involved in computer consultancy, data processing, infrastructure provision for hosting and related services.
