Southern Score Builders Berhad announced that it has accepted a letter of award from a local construction company to undertake a subcontract works more particularly described as supply, delivery, installation, testing & commissioning, maintenance and warranty of electrical works for a data centre project located at Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, for a total subcontract sum of RM40 million.
“With this latest award, our M&E arm has now secured six data centre contracts in 2026, taking our cumulative wins for the year to around RM528.0 million. Behind this momentum is the region’s accelerating build-out of data centres, which is driving sustained demand for the electrical works and building systems these facilities depend on, an area that plays directly to SJEE’s strengths.” said Gan Yee Hin CEO.
The construction arm maintains a healthy order book that it replenishes periodically, most recently with the RM180 million main building works for a private hospital development in Melaka.
