Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd has secured a RM26.2 million contract to undertake foundation and substructure works for a 53-storey serviced apartment development along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng in Kuala Lumpur.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award from WDA Architects Sdn Bhd, acting on behalf of developer Exsim YKS 54 Sdn Bhd.
The contract covers earthworks, piling and pile caps, retaining walls and substructure works for the development, which will comprise 394 serviced apartment units and one strata office unit.
The project will also include mechanical parking facilities, public amenities and mechanical and electrical service areas.
The contract is valued at RM26.2 million, excluding service tax on construction services.
Work is scheduled to run from Sept 15, 2026, to Aug 14, 2028.
Aneka said the commencement date was agreed upon during final contract negotiations to ensure that project delivery would not be delayed.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s consolidated earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Aug 31, 2027, and Aug 31, 2028.
The company added that it does not foresee any exceptional risks beyond the normal operational risks associated with construction activities.
