TSH Resources Bhd’s indirect subsidiary in Indonesia has been slapped with an administrative fine of approximately RM42 million by the country’s Forest Area Enforcement Task Force.
The plantation group said its 90%-owned indirect subsidiary, PT Sarana Prima Multi Niaga (PT SPMN), had executed a letter acknowledging the fine of IDR184.35 billion.
TSH Resources said PT SPMN would settle the fine in four instalments, with the first payment due no later than Sept 25, 2026.
The company did not disclose the circumstances leading to the fine, the amounts payable under each instalment or its expected impact on the group’s earnings.
