Calvin Klein is taking its minimalist codes back to the basics for Spring 2027. Under creative director Veronica Leoni, the latest collection focuses on proportion, tailoring and the relationship between clothing and the body.
Presented at New York’s Terminal Warehouse, the collection reworks familiar Calvin Klein pieces including coats, shirts, trousers, pencil skirts and slip dresses. The silhouettes are longer and narrower, with some styles pulled in at the waist.
Tailoring is cut in cotton and lightweight wool, while denim, leather, laser-cut suede and silk knits add texture. Slip and T-shirt dresses are reshaped into full-length bias-cut styles. The collection also brings in color, moving beyond black and white with scarlet, bright yellow, royal blue, cherry and light citron. A check pattern draws from Georgia O’Keeffe’s wardrobe.
Accessories keep the same practical approach. Metal headbands, pointed scarves and oversized bags add structure without taking focus away from the clothes. The bags include both sleek, structured shapes and softer styles, along with a new triangular design.
The Spring 2027 collection continues Leoni’s work on American minimalism at Calvin Klein. Rather than relying on extra detailing, the clothes are built around cut, proportion and how they sit on the body. Calvin Klein’s own Spring 2027 runway page describes the approach as minimalism existing between design and the body, with little else in between.
